About Us

We are two science teachers who teach at Pasco High School. We frequently use GLAD strategies in our classroom, and have seen great improvements in our students when these methods are being used. This blog is a collection of things we do in our classroom, however, it is not endorsed by GLAD as we are not GLAD certified trainers, but we merely teaches who have taken GLAD courses and are involved in District sponsored GLAD meetings.

Brooke Paul - Brooke is in her 4th year of teaching, but 5th year of using GLAD strategies in her classroom.  She began by doing simple input charts and has slowly added one GLAD strategy at a time and has especially seen a drastic improvement in her students since she began incorporating accountable talk frames with her input charts.

Julia Jones - Julia is in her 4th year of teaching, but 3rd year of using GLAD strategies in her classroom. Julia often uses GLAD strategies to teach chemistry and AP chemistry. Her favorite strategies are the CCD and accountable talk frames.
